Besides Scholarships, Squadron 389 Sons of The American Legion is dedicated to helping to support many other Charities and Community Programs. They typically sponsor a delegate to each of Buckeye Boys and Girls State and donate to the Safety Town Program. American Legion Programs such as Child Welfare, Special Olympics, Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation, Children’s Miracle Network, Legion Baseball and Disaster Relief are also supported. The Squadron is willing to help with virtually any Community Project that is deemed beneficial upon request.
